The surgery operates a mixture of Same Day face to face and phone consultations. All conditions will be signposted to the most appropriate Clinician by our trained team of call handlers. Please ensure you provide a minimum set of information based on your ailments, refusal may result in delayed treatment.

If after a phone consultation a Clinician feels you need to be assessed face to face, you will be offered a same day or advanced appointment based on the urgency.

Our appointment lines are open after 8:30am. Before you call, please refer to our Self Help information which will advise if you really need to see a clinician, and our My Surgery app.

We endeavour to minimise patient waiting times to see a Clinician but there are occasions, especially if you are an extra to a surgery that you many encounter a longer than expected wait.

Urgent Appointments

Urgent cases will be seen on the same day by the first available Clinician. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Patients who are deemed urgent after speaking to our call handlers will be offered a same day consultation which could be by phone, face to face, or other arrangements.

Children under 16 with an acute urgent issue will be seen by a Clinician on the same day which could be by phone or face to face.

If you are over 75 and have not been seen at the surgery for three years you can request a check up appointment if required.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. Please do not abuse appointments by not attending.
